SHIPITO.COM is a scam

Shipito.com is a mail, package, or parcel forwarder in your US address; and this is how they work- at first, they allow you to shop from the US, then they will receive the package. Finally, they will forward the package to you. In addition, they will give you a unique address. To sum up, shipito.com is a mail forwarder to your US address. On shipito.com you will see an ongoing auction of various products for its visitors. Overall, shipito.com is a nice and convenient service for mail forwarding. But in reality, shipito.com is far away from this. They tell something and do something else. Once I signed up for their service, and I got scammed. Keep reading to know how this company cheated me. 
 
Shipito.com service fee is quite affordable that is $50. Considering all the services and charges, I signed up by paying $50. While signing up for their service, you need to provide your complete Id except the sensitive information. As far as I know basic Id details are not sensitive, so it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone. I fulfilled all the terms and conditions of shipito.com


About one month after signing up, I noticed, although I could have received at least 3-4 letters by now, there is no mail forwarded by shipito yet. Therefore, I contacted shipito online. It took them about a week to reply me. Anyhow, the reply was not any good for me. According to shipito, there was lack of Id in my Shipito.com account. For this, they didn’t receive any of my mail. In addition, until I give them more Ids, they will not receive or forward any of my mail or package. 


In this era of technological advancement information is considered as the most valuable resource for any business or person. Also when you are involved in a business that takes some secrecy in some particular fields, it is impossible to disclose valuable, crucial information. Because, it may cause you identity theft as well as you could be scammed. If you take other mail forwarding companies in consideration, you’ll see no one is asking for Id that might put their customers in risk. If I knew shipito will ask for more ids, I wouldn’t consider it in the first place. That was a total shocker to realize these shipito officials don’t have any care for their customers. They are very stubborn indeed. Why they need more Ids? Question like this was popping up in my mind? 

Although some mails were already missing owing to shipito, I decided to cancel my subscription. I can’t bear anymore loss. Enough is enough. Thus, I called shipito at 310-212-7134, and cancelled my service. On top of that, I also asked for refund, since shipito didn’t forward me a single mail or package. Maybe $50 is not a very big deal, but I can’t waste my money on such a reckless, inefficient company. However, the shipito official straight forwardly denied my claim for refund. That means they will keep the signup fee, though there was no service provided by shipito. What can you call that? I think scam could be the right word for it. 


Moreover, in many forums many past customers of shipito complained about their service. At the first place, shipito is not cooperative at all. At the second place, like me, in many cases they failed to forward mail or package. At the third palace, which also seemed most severe to me, they took away charges, fees that are totally irrelevant and extra. Even if you visit the official shipito.com forum, many complaints will be seen as well. 


I totally understood shipito.com is a scam website, and shipito has no effort or experience when it comes to mail forwarding. When someone signups with them, they could show any kind of random cause as a reason for not delivering mail. I believe providing them with more Ids is not a good idea; as this company is a scam, you might face identity theft. This company is ready to let it customers go away only for $50, so you can’t be relieved by giving them your sensible information. Alike mine, you may find similar complaints on the internet, mine is just another entry into shipito’s victim list.

  1. 100% correct its a scam, read the BBB and complaint boards, the IDs they do not need all they need is the legal notarized 1583 form, No IDs should be required beyond this form, yet yes they do steal your IDs and can sell this info or commit fruad, beware of shipito!

    my current verifecation status is 70%

    i sent my FORM 1583 (notarized by public notary, mail signed original) since 3 weeks and payed 50$ juste sou can reseved quiqly nothing yet

    my account was on hold then i submite 2 id and FORM 1583 (signed by the paypal account holder) they fixed the problem when i add 240$ they send me this message for the stupid Jon G

    why did they hold my account after i add the money ?
    why they dont encrease my spending limites ?
    why they dont verified my account and give me 110%?

    for my part i stoped promoting them in my forum and i contacte the 234 member in my forum
    to tell them donot join this service cauz its frod
    i will contacte ebay and amzon where i buy my item to explain all this so they wiil not
    accepte they adresse to shippe item there and i amrealy good in promoting any thing i am
    a member of more then 300 traffic exchange and more then 289 liste so like this no one will get
    scammed by them if this true

  3. I've just wasted $100.

    I've been using shipito for a long time, but this time would be the last one.

    Nowadays Shipito became a scam, there're a lot of hidden charges: they charge $2.5 to "process" each package and $2 to consolidate packages into bigger one for each package. That means $2+$2.5 = $4.5 for each package. And that doesn't include shipping costs, special requests, bank fees etc. You pay for everything.

    Now I've consolidated 22 small packages (guitar strings) and I've got 22 * $4.5 = $99 bill for their so-called "service"!

    But those fees aren't explained anywhere. You will find it out only when you get your bill.

    Sarcasm mode: Oh, that's my dream job: throw small boxes into big one for 5 minutes, get $100. Not bad, shipito, not bad at all!

    Thank you very much shipito, never will use you again, and will recommend you to no one.

  4. Big time scammers. Never had a problem with my first test ship. Second shipment was bigger and more expensive. They put my account on hold after I use paypal to fund the account as my paypal account name differ slightly. Never had this issue with the first shipment. Anyway they lifted the hold after I explain why it is different. Happen again when I need to put in more money. Was assured by their staff that it is not an issue. They lifted my pending again. But when the time came to shipping the items, they flat out refused to send out the package. Gave them passport and drivers license copies and sign their forms to try to sort out this issue and call all them countless times but to no avail. Told them their staff had previously send me emails saying the name will not be an issue. Bloody hell, they lift the pending not once but twice. That's the reason I kept funding the account. If I had a whiff of trouble ahead, I would have redirected my shipment pronto. Phone call alone to sort out this issue with shipito cost me 30 bucks. At the end I had to get the seller to pick up the item. But that is not the worst. Worst thing is, they charge me 8.50 for each package that they hand back to the seller. Ridiculous. The fault did not even begin with me when it is their staff that had been giving out incorrent information from the start. They should have left the account on pending if it was such a big issue. I would have stop funding immediately and redirected my stuff somewhere else. But oh no, they waited till everything is at their warehouse and you are at their mercy. They apologies a lot but still would not bulge an inch. I do not expect much but at least an offer not to charge the 8.50. It's bad enough not to receive the product you paid for but to be charged the return fees is downright disgusting. So at the end of the day, 80+ bucks in my shipito account got sucked up by the return fees and the initial processing fee and repacking fee. So thinking of using shipito for your shipment, well u better think twice. I rather deal with a shipper with more integrity than this. So shipito - not only have you lost a customer but this customer is so unhappy about your utter contempt of him that he wrote a review about it and will try his best to spread it out everywhere.

  5. Have experienced similar if not worse situations. Took my business to MyUS and have been completely satisfied ever since. Customer service is phenominally better which helps me deal with my packages from across the world. Plus, they just lowered their ship rates last week.

  6. Hi i am a member of shipito since October 30, 2010 but i didnt use they service because a lot of member complaine and i found a lot of sacm subject tlking bad of they service but now i confirme it

    so i start using they service in April 20, 2013 so i consolidate all my item in one package and was ready to shipped but then one of they support told me that i muste sent a request to move an item ( so they can charge more)

    the item that i asked to remove it is

    read what they did told me

    Mail out request for package H1287-Y has been cancelled because the
    package contains pressurized cans (hair mousse). Pressurized cans cannot
    be shipped internationally via any carrier. Please place a special
    request to have the items removed. Thank you.

    i contact the seller of the wella professionals he tell me that there is no problem he can shippe this
    item to algeria va usps or dhl or fedex
    and i got tow month ago hairspray for ebay seller form usa

  7. If you notice, there is an auction page on their website which is selling all the goods that I suspect they stole from people, using the same method. Apparently the terms and conditions are designed to force the client to give up and they retain their money and parcel. They benefit from keeping your parcel as they charge you a monthly fee for keeping them.

  8. I sold a Garmin 720s value $1200 on ebay. and was given the Shipito address not knowing it was Shipito. The buyer opened a case saying it was not the item. Shipito showed some BS pictures of what was in the box. There is a THEFT at SHIPITO . I know exactly what I shipped a $1200 Garmin 720s brand new in box... There is a THEFT at SHIPITO

Don’t use shipitto. 1) They rip you off (especially when you use the consolidation option - they charge you WAY more than individual packages) 2) They lose your packages (or perhaps some staff steal them!) and there is no way to get redress 3) They have no customer services - and then they blame the customer when their system goes wrong! Here is a recent "live chat support" exchange re the last point:
    Shipitto support: "Hello (client) How may I help you?"
    Client " I am very confused. I asked some days ago for some packages to be consolidated - which they since have. I have not heard anything more since, from Shipitto. Now when I log in, I see the package is sitting there, ready to send apparently, yet there is no information whatsoever as to the cost. Clearly it cannot be sent until I know the cost. 1) Can I please know the cost (!) 2) It would seem Shipitto has a problem with its system as this is the second time this problem has occurred with consolidation."
    Shipitto support: "the package cannot be shipped because the postage cannot be calculated for this shipping method as the package is too heavy for the method."
    Client " Amazing. Why didn't they say so then? Why I am not told anything? I take it now I will have paid for consolidation, and yet also have to pay for it to be "unconsolidated" and then pay again for it to be sent.
    I am very unhappy with shipitto
    THis will be the last time I use the service. Sad - as it did have potential."

It was indeed a HEAVY item. Nothing like this package. To re-iterate, please give me an answer. Not am explanation of my apparent ineptitude.

I am taking note of this interaction and 1) not using shipitto again 2) using this is a marketing case study of how NOT to talk to a customer. 3) Sending a letter of complaint. I will now await someone with appropriate customer service skills to contact me. Until then the package will stay where it is."
    Shipitto support "What do you expect from us to do ? The only thing you need to do is to change the carrier to someone else and ship your package"
    Client: "Pls tell me how to do this asap then.
    I want that package out, so I can end spending money with your company which clearly doesn't care about customer service and blames the customer."
    Moral of this review - don't use shipitto!

  11. Oh dear, I should have read all these comments before. In order to pass the review, I have provided passport copies, Id Card copies, Drivers License, the Utility bill thar matches the name and address and yet I am not passing the test. I have many parcels stuck with them, seems it is a lesson learnt, do not trust such companies.

  12. I cannot believe that passports, drivers license and ID cards with photos are not passing their identity test and they are refusing to release my parcels and returning them to the sender. This is such a bad company, what else can consumers do? Why are such companies still able to survive? No justice.

  13. They give you an account & address, once your parcel arrives with them, they hit you with all their requirements. To the point that you can no longer get your item. Once such is you credit card & CVV number.

    They then refuse to give you a full refund, despite them keeping your item.

    Good thing Paypal steps in & resolves the refund.

  19. You are billion percent true it is a scam. I used their service once and never going to use again. I was using viabox.com before but friend told me to give shipito a try. That was my biggest mistake. They have too many hidden fees and charges.

    I am done using their service and never ever going to use it again. Sorry, viabox I cheated upon you. But I think we can get together again.

  21. They are assholes. A bunch of bearucratic morons. They claim free registration but for even for re-checking an error they charge you. Most of all i wasted 1000 USD on them and even my first package got stuck in Dubai because Shipitto missed the lithium battery form with package. Absolutely NOT recommended!

  23. All went well until my 4th delivery, and then hell broke loose.

    After receiving confirmation for my package consolidation I ordered mailout (SHIPITOFR2558567) on 20.02.2017 from the HAWTHORNE warehouse.

    Seven working days later I started inquiring as for why the package was not sent. I went on contacting their customer support four days in a row. And four days in a row Shipito support officers assured me that the package would be mailed out the same day. Also it worth noting that no supervisor was available to assist me.

    On the fifth day I received an email from the warehouse supervisor telling me that the package was lost (?!). Shipito said they were working on locating the package. Fair enough, mistakes happen, I though I could wait a few days out of courtesy before starting to press them.

    And then I went on waiting.....for f**ing 25 days ! with absolutely 0 feedback from any employee at Shipito. Bear in mind that I had invested USD 400 in the content of that package.

    On the 28th day I replied back to the supervisor's email saying that leaving me hanging without any form of feedback was unacceptable and complained about their lack of quality in handling customers when things get a little bit complicated (a shipping company that can't even keep track of its packages....).

    On the 30th day the supervisor answered back saying that the package was currently being inspected. They did not say if it was really lost in the first place, all I know now that it is being inspected. I gave them the green-light to go ahead, and if there was any article that I would not be able to ship abroad, the set it aside.

    Two days later I got a generic response from a disgruntled employee stating that this process will take 10 additional workings days to be processed !

    You can now understand why I would absolutely NEVER recommend SHIPITO to any serious or occasional customer willing to shop in the US. Any cent you will save on the first few shipments with them will be spent back the very first time they $#*! up your delivery.

    STAY AWAY from them by all means.

    PS: I got records of most of their emails / chats to back-up the above.

  24. Shipito STOLE a package of mine worth 700 dollars plus all i payed for shipping!
    After 3 months (now it's 5!!!) they simply could not give me an answer about what happened to my item!! They had the paypal invoice of what i payed for it (700 dollars they even photographed it for me!!!) shipping was also insured. After "reimbursing" me for 20 ridiculous dollars into THEIR account, they made my shipito account INACTIVE saying i am "fraudulent". This company is a SCAM, i am a serious musician who buy gear online since 2004 and this never happened to me!!! Every private seller on ebay who shipped directly to me had his item normally delivered! Shipito STOLE it finding excuses for 3 months and when i started to get really pissed they simply closed my account to get rid of the problem!
    SHIPITO IS A SCAM! Please people let's be united to sue them and have our money back!!!

    one shipment lost and for more than 2months no response on support ticket
    then I have opened dispute over PayPAl , automatically put my account on hold and I couldn't shipout my packages in their warehouse
    the nthey told they will return shipment to sender

  28. never use shipito, you will lose your item and your money. Even the money I paid to ship my item they would not refund. STAY AWAY and ship with another company or even better a friend if you have a friend there in the US. They will ask you for so much ID but it's just lies lies lies.

  29. When they receive a restricted item, they have the right to do not ship it
    BUT, when you send them prepaid shipping label and ask them to stick on package in order to pick up to send to another Address in USA (not international), they reject and ask you to re divide the consolidated shipment and pay for each shipment 5$ special request and send them Prepaid AWB for each shipment
    do you imagine that???
    I have moved to Ship7.com they are much better and smoother in dealing with Dangerous Items
    though I was platinum member in shipito and use it since 4 years and ship 4 shipments monthly
    avoid those complicated people please to do n't increase your blood pressure

  30. These SonofaBi*#s stole me in the nasty way possible. Now I realized that their employees are robbers, as I read in blog replies I'm pretty sure.
    I bought two PlayStation games and a t shirt from Amazon. The shirt was delivered but the games never arrived even the tracking didn't displayed any update status. They refunded me when I claim this lose. Then I decided to buy some items and their feeds ripped me off fees cost me more than my purchase.
    I was searching the form to delete my account there due to I hate that they got my name into its nasty and dreadful crook company. If I had a wish that become reality, I would want that the crooksfrom that company die beheaded by the sorting machine or lose their hands.
    Please, if it possible someone could blow away that f$#cking shit company?

  31. Most binary options companies out there are fraudulent. They are all scams. I have been a victim of their activities. I invested about $280,000 and when I wanted to withdraw after some weeks, I was unable to reach their contact numbers or emails with which we stayed in touch.
